30th January 2009: Triumph is pleased to announce the return of the Triumph Triple Challenge Championship for 2009. Run by Tony Scott of T3 Racing, the Triumph Triple Challenge is an exciting and highly competitive one-make series using the Daytona 675. The series, run under the MRO banner, provides a cost effective stepping stone for riders to develop their race craft and progress to British SuperBikes. Previous winners James Dye and Mark Cringle have both gone on to ride for national teams at BSB following appearances in the Triumph Triple Challenge Championship. The Triumph Triple Challenge Championship appeared twice as a support class at BSB in 2008 and will appear at Thruxton and Mallory Park at BSB in 2009. |
