30th January 2009: Triumph is pleased to announce the return of the Triumph Triple Challenge Championship for 2009. Run by Tony Scott of T3 Racing, the Triumph Triple Challenge is an exciting and highly competitive one-make series using the Daytona 675.

The series, run under the MRO banner, provides a cost effective stepping stone for riders to develop their race craft and progress to British SuperBikes. Previous winners James Dye and Mark Cringle have both gone on to ride for national teams at BSB following appearances in the Triumph Triple Challenge Championship.  The Triumph Triple Challenge Championship appeared twice as a support class at BSB in 2008 and will appear at Thruxton and Mallory Park at BSB in 2009. All riders receive a trackside parts support service, which is unique to this series, a dedicated tyre service as well as organised test days with trackside assistance from trained Michelin Tyre Technicians.   2009 Triumph Triple Challenge Championship calendar: April 17th - 19th                   Brands Hatch Indy    *May 15th - 17th                    Cadwell Park            *May 29th - 31st                   Thruxton BSB           *June 26th, 27th                    Oulton Park             *July 17th - 19th                    Mallory Park BSB      *July 24th - 26th                    Brands Hatch GP       Aug 21st - 23rd                    Cadwell Park            Sept 4th - 6th                      Snetterton               *Sept 25th - 27th                   Brands Hatch Indy    *                                      *To be televised on British Eurosport and/or Men & Motors TV
